I wrote this near the beginning of December and never posted it. Everything changed so quickly after this was written! We talked with our doctor over Thanksgiving, and it looks like the next steps are cycles of IUI. The doctor confirmed I have PCOS and walked us through our results from our one-day-work-up. The HSG test showed that I have only one working fallopian tube (I should've asked more questions about this, but didn't think to ask anything in the moment), and so we'll do IUI cycles every time I ovulate on my right side (which will be confirmed by an ultrasound). After 3 cycles of IUI, we'll reevaluate if I'm not able to get pregnant, and then look into changing dosages/etc or possibly IVF. It's daunting. And I kind of just want to quit going to the fertility clinic altogether, but I'm worried that if we stop now that we'll just be postponing the inevitable. So that's where we're at.
