Giggles

Pickle ball in the morning, Marty home for lunch (he even did the dishes during his lunch break!), errands in the afternoon, and pizza and oranges for dinner with Emi in the evening. Marty was working on the benchmark late today and didn't get home until 9:42 (I looked over at the clock when he got home to see what time it was.haha). 

After Emi had dinner and was playing on the floor I noticed she still had some bits of orange under her chin. I went to grab them and she started giggling. Someone is ticklish on her neck! So cute.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it. Last December, HR closed their rec center childcare and I was crushed because that meant I could no longer go to their daytime classes. I thought nothing could compare to those classes. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
