Happy

Today at My Gym one of the friends I made (Cameron's Grandma) asked where I'd been. She said she almost asked one of the teachers if Emi and I were still signed up. It made me feel good to be missed! Emi loved the warm up routine (as usual) and I enjoyed seeing her so happy!

On Saturday I was talking with Angela and asked if Marty had a wide smile when he was younger. She said yes, and today she sent me pictures of Marty. Emi's wide smile most definitely is coming from him! I love to see similarities between Marty and Emi...it makes me happy!

          Like Father...                                                            Like Daughter.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
