Because our flight to Japan takes off from Salt Lake, it made sense to fly straight from New York to Salt Lake so Emi and I could rest up a bit before heading out on another long flight. We were able to spend lots of time relaxing and hanging out with Aunt Bubs. Aunt Jackie also came over one night after work which was fun. Love getting to spend all this time with family. I feel so blessed!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
