Work Interruption

Just had to make a separate post for this because Marty found out tonight that he will be doing an internal transfer at work. I'm super excited for him to try something new and this will be a promotion. He will be on the hedge accounting team. I know his boss is bummed out that he'll be transferring, and Marty will miss his boss and team, but excited for him to have new opportunities and learn new things!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
