Corn Hole and Duathlon

Today consisted of lots of corn hole, a duathlon (I ran the 1 mile part of the relay), and the candy bar game!

Marty and I also went for a drive in the Bronco together! That was a blast. Reese made sure that sleeping Emi was taken care of while we were gone:)

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it. Last December, HR closed their rec center childcare and I was crushed because that meant I could no longer go to their daytime classes. I thought nothing could compare to those classes. Packed Day

I think we went a little overboard today with the activities! Sometimes I can get carried away with scheduling. We went to Chuze, library story time, a friend's house in the afternoon, and then I had a YW activity (sunshine boxes!)  and a YW Meeting in the evening (and Marty had a softball game!). And then 2 of my siblings called! It's been non stop activities all day.  This is the picture I have from today. haha.

2 Weeks in a Post

We have been busy! Lots of running and working out, playdates, YWs, and My Gym. My Gym Pretty run views. Emi and Dad watching "Toy Story." I got these cute Holy Week cards off of Etsy for the YW for Easter. It was time consuming printing, assembling, etc. But I love how they turned out!  The girl's Easter gifts all ready to go. Kathleen D. is a bow tying professional! Emi reading. I put away all of Emi's bow headbands this past week. She was hating them, so we're going to try alligator clip bows from now on. Children's Museum. Emi got a new car. It's missing one headlight (for now), but she loves it! Trip to the Aquarium. Fish. Emi wanted to play in her crib.haha. Look how cute her bow is! Jedi Emi.
