New Cousin!

Today Emi's cousin, Huck, was born. We are so excited to have another cousin in the Rosen Crew! It's pretty crazy that Emi, Rachel, and Huck were all born within a few months of each other...all on their due dates! (Peter sent me the stats on how likely that is and it's an insanely low chance of that happening.)

Emi and I got to see Baby Huck for a few minutes over FaceTime and he is straight from heaven... with a head full of dark hair! Even though Ingi's hair is as light as they come, I can see the resemblance between the two of them in different ways. Steph seemed like she was doing well too.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
