Floors Pt 2

I woke up early this morning to finish bleaching the floors in the few areas we had left at the house. I took a stop at the store for some more bleach (this will be our 4th bottle!), and then headed on over. It wasn't too bad, but I was so scared to go to the house all by myself because we had to leave the windows open last night. Luckily there were no intruders haha and everything went well. 

Look how gross the water/bleach solution was after going over the floors. Also appreciate me wearing Marty's shoes haha

By mid-morning, Luis was already working on the odor treatment and in the afternoon he and Francisco were beginning to lay flooring.

Meanwhile Emi and I took a trip to Target to grab some more storage boxes...and we even got some summery things for Emi--bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and little tike balls. She was screaming throughout our trip which made things interesting. Nothing quite like being in a power struggle with your almost-10-month-old. I could see the parents in the store looking at me with empathy. haha. 

In the evening, we headed over to the house and the workers were still there! It was 6:30 ish...and they had laid down a bunch of flooring. It looks so good!! It totally brightens up the space and it doesn't smell like dog pee everywhere. Woohooo! We are so grateful for Francisco and Luis. They're amazing.

Then we took a quick stop at Home Depot on our way home to choose out a fridge. We found 2 we like, and were going to buy one but there was no one there to help us. haha. So Emi and I will be venturing back there tomorrow to figure out our fridge situation.
