The Wall is Down!

The wall came down today:') There's still some wall-related work that needs to be done before flooring people come on Monday, but this is a good start! The workers said the counter top was one of the heaviest things they've ever had to lift...they were guessing it was over 800 pounds. Yikes😳 It's currently sitting in our garage, but I'm hoping it gets whisked away at some point.haha.

Taking the wall down has really opened up the space. It looks so good!

I (mostly) finished organizing the linen closet while the workers took down the wall. Thank you Dan and Angela (and Pinterest) for providing inspo for our linen closet!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
