This and That

Lots of errands today! Because we are in this awkward place where we can't really move in yet but have access to the house, I've been enjoying organizing a few things. That way I can prepare for the house and be excited about everything without actually moving in. Today's project was grabbing more bins for the linen closet and starting our medicine cabinet organization. 
Emi loved being a helper! haha.

We also ran to Deseret Book and I found a cute picture in a frame on display there. I grabbed the same picture (but not the display one), but when I came home and unwrapped it I discovered a crack in the glass of the new frame. Looks like I'll be taking a trip back there!

In the evening I had running club!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
