A Week in a Day

Honestly the past week has just flown by. I can't remember the individual days because they've just all blended together...so I'm just going to put up pictures from the past week with captions.

"Look what I did Mom! All by myself!"

This carseat has needed to be cleaned for a long time...It wasn't as disgusting as I would've imagined for not being cleaned for 10 months haha

I can hear my mom saying "I feel like I'm in a fish bowl!"

One of my 3rd graders chose this outfit out for Emi. Love that certain things remind me of my students. I miss them! 

Bed frame, night stands, and bench. 

Had a great long run on Saturday. Sporting the post-run long leggings and short socks look.

Emi's first time going to the temple.

Marty and I doing calculations and cutting out templates to get the frames looking exactly how I want them to on the wall. I'm not particular at all ;) Does this bring back memories, Mom?  

The mountain of laundry. This is a more frequent occurrence than it probably should be haha.

Figuring out the console table. I have plans to add books under the globe and a mirror behind the table.

Our bed is almost complete:) Just looking for a lumbar pillow that I like.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it. Last December, HR closed their rec center childcare and I was crushed because that meant I could no longer go to their daytime classes. I thought nothing could compare to those classes. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
