Couch

Today was exciting because we had our couch delivery! It looks great and is very comfortable. 


Emi and I spent most of the day tidying up and getting ready for Utah. It's the best feeling coming home from vacation to a clean house, so I try and always have everything clean before we head anywhere.

The next step in this process is figuring out a rug and TV.

In the late afternoon we picked Marty up from work and headed to the airport. By the evening we were in Utah! Emi did really well on the flight which was amazing. Dan and Angela picked us up from the airport and had the yummiest meal waiting for us at their house--roasted chicken with veggies. It was so good and also nice to have a home cooked meal that Marty or I didn't cook ;p

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
