Israel, Sprouts, and Pretzels

 It's getting real! We finally booked our flights to Israel. I'm so excited to have this trip to look forward to.


Emi and I went Sally's Beauty today to get her some hair things. They didn't have many accessories but we were able to get her some elastics. 

My dad always calls this hair-do a "sprout." 

Thanks to Alex we were able to snag these at Costco. Last year I tried getting them after Thanksgiving and they were all gone! They are so delicious and I'm kind of wishing we would've gotten 2 packs...

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
