A Busy Saturday

Emi and I went to swim lessons in the morning. The instructor today had a lot of different activities planned which was a good change from the previous lessons we had. The water was freezing, though, and Emi let everyone know she wasn't pleased yelling. haha.

In the afternoon we hosted a station for the running club's "Bubble Run." Each year around this time, running club runs to different houses of HRRC( Highlands Ranch Running Club)'s members' homes and then ends the run at Living the Dream Brewery.

I had a good time preparing our aid station, and it was an added bonus that Marty cleaned our work table in our garage for the event.

I'm laughing that I'm 3 ft away from everyone. haha. (Proof I lived during a pandemic!)

In the evening Marty and I went out to dinner at a place we'd never been to, Farro. It was delicious with a nice ambiance! Afterwards we went to Costco to get a Christmas tree. And then Barnes and Noble to choose out books (Kind of like what we did with Emi earlier in the week but a book for each of us to read).

Woo hoo!

Marty told me he could get the tree to fit in his car. I said no way. Welp...somehow he got the tree to fit in the car.
