Catch Up

These past few days we've been taking it pretty slow and Emi & I have cancelled most of our commitments. I would just feel so bad if we spread this gross sickness to other people. Other than that this is what's happened this week!

-For family night we went to Barnes and Noble and chose out some holiday books. I'm hoping to do this for the next few years until we build up a bigger stash of holiday books.

Marty and I each chose out 2! Can you guess which ones we each chose out?

-Some of Marty's coworkers from Kennett are here so he has a few dinners and an event this week. Tonight, for their event, they went Go Karting! I'm excited to hear how it went.

-Our sink got clogged with potato peels. Nick and Anthony came and saved the day (this is the 3rd time they've saved us from a disaster haha).

-Emi and I went to Old Chicago Pizza for dinner together. She did really well! I honestly felt so exposed and kind of like a loner without Marty. haha. I guess I've just grown accustomed to him;)

-Today Emi and I were both just hanging out on the floor and she walked over--practically walked into me--and wanted me to hug and squeeze her. Then she left and began to repeat it all again and again. She's so lovable and these are the types of moments I live for.

-I've been talking to my mom a lot over FaceTime. Even though my parents are far away I'm glad I can still talk with them!

-The rec center situation didn't resolve how I hoped it would but I'm planning on switching to Chuze Fitness at the beginning of the year. They have childcare so that will make it easier to workout during the day.

-Emi and I have gone to Redstone Park a couple days this week to get some fresh air and walk/play on the playground.

Some bonus Emi pics...
Another sighting of Emi wearing her strawberry "hat" (aka her shorts)

In this house we lick the beaters. I loved doing this as a kid!
