Track Suit

I'm still working on figuring out the rec center childcare situation, I still have a bad sore throat and congestion...but my tear duct is finally back to normal! Woohoo.

Emi and I had a slow morning since I'm still not feeling great, but in the afternoon I figured we may was well get some things done instead of just moping around. So we picked up a bathroom rug from Macy's and stopped at Kirklands on the way home to grab some Christmas decorations. I'm happy about my finds and can't wait to put them up in a few weeks! 

In the evening we spent some time outside and Marty showcased his track suit for us. haha. His new (ish) team at work wears track suits in the winter every Friday. haha. So naturally he had to order one to fit in.

This evening Marty and I finished "Only Murders in the Building" Season 3. We both really liked it!

Emi has been wearing these shorts on her head the past couple days.haha. She's a hoot.

Emi's new shoes came! She loves wearing them...I think it's because they're so soft and cozy on the inside.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
