Chocolate Covered Peppermint Joe Joes

In the morning we had Emi's last music class of the session. Annie N. does a great job putting it on and has been very patient with Emi. Emi loves to explore and get into all the musical instruments!

Emi got a chocolate cookie after music today.

Other than that, I got our Christmas cards addressed and hope to send them out tomorrow. Emi and I also went to the store and got neighbor gifts that I'm really excited about....chocolate covered Joe Joes. They're soooo good. I was hoping to gift them last year but they were already sold out by the time I made it to the store. 


After dinner, Marty and I went to deliver some gifts to our neighbors and ended up only making it to one of our neighbors' houses. Steve lives next door and was friendly and invited us in to chat. After leaving his house, Marty put Emi to bed and I headed to a Young Women's activity.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
