Cooking Class

In the morning, Emi and I headed out to meet Jana and Braedan L. at the Denver Children's Museum. Traffic made the drive long, and I was thinking on the way there that I never wanted to do the drive at that time again. However, I changed my mind when we got there and the place was wayyy less crowded than any other time we've been. In fact, we were able to get a slot in the 10 am cooking class (whereas normally the slots are filled quickly).

The cooking class was so fun and I honestly couldn't believe it's included in our membership. Emi did really well watching the chef demo, she helped pour ingredients into our food processor, and she LOVED eating the pita and dip. We will be going back soon!

We made muhammara--which is a Middle Eastern dip.

I thought Emi dressed up as a snail was so cute.

And Emi dressed as a beekeeper was also cute.

On the way home from the museum I gave Emi a steady stream of snacks to keep her awake and when we got home she had food all over her. haha.

In the afternoon Emi and I went for a walk with Katye and Easton. We saw a bobcat! It was a little bit too close to comfort for me...

Dinner was Little Caesars which is one of my favorite meals. haha. (Do all the Rosen siblings feel the same way about Little Caesars as I do?) And then Marty and I got a babysitter and headed to the temple. Within the past week we've had babysitters 3 times at Emi's bedtime...and I honestly miss putting her to bed (which can feel like a chore at times)!
