Chillin'

Angela bought a 1/32 size violin for Emi to try and it may be the cutest thing I've seen in my entire life. No wonder people have their kids start music so young! The cuteness factor is real.

The violin is so tiny! You have to look closely to see it. 

Yesterday while I was at my hair appointment, Marty and Angela made this fort for Emi. 
We're pretty sure grandma has spent more time in the fort than Emi. haha.

In the evening we braved the cold and headed to the park. Emi loved it, and so did the rest of us.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
