Refreshed

Emi almost made it through a whole Sacrament Meeting today! Thanks to the cutest little girls, Kendall and Kyle T., who love playing with Emi throughout the meeting. 

One of my favorite things to do on Sundays is go for a walk as a family. Today was chilly but once we bundled up we were fine. I always feel refreshed after a walk.

In the evening we FaceTimed with Dave and Steph, ate enchiladas, and played games online with Peter and Alex.

Someone in our ward brought over some yummy bread today.

We love this girl!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
