A Bonk and an Outing

Just 2 days ago Emi learned how to pull out our chairs in the kitchen, and climb onto them and our table. Today she had a bonk in the process of doing that. Poor girl :'(


Up until this point in Emi's life I've tried to plan one thing a day to get us out of the house. Now that she's moving everywhere and has lots of wiggles to get out, I think we're going to need to have at least 2 outings a day for her sanity and mine.
We went to the park this afternoon and it felt so good to be outside and I enjoyed watching her play!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
