Carrots and Onion Dip
Marty and I thought it was so cute and funny how Emi was eating and drinking her cereal and milk this morning.
Emi and I spent the morning at the children's museum. She loved saying "Bubbles" and taking off toward the bubble room at the museum.
Emi with her shopping at the grocery store. She loves anything purse-like in this stage she's in right now. |
In the cooking class we went to we made onion dip served with carrots. Emi would suck the dip off the carrots, and then spit the carrots out. haha. |
In the afternoon we went on a walk with Katye and Easton. After Katye and I were done walking we let the kiddos out of their strollers to play on the playground at the park we were at. Emi and Easton are the cutest little buddies.
After our walk we met Marty at Torchy's for dinner, and then made our way to Institute. They have a new class in our area for young married couples/families. Today the teachers were mostly seeing what topics we had interest in, so we're going to go again to get a better feel for what it'll be like.
The part that impressed me most about Institute was that they had dinner for everyone who came (+ all the young single adults who finished their class at the same time as us). There were so many people (50-60ish), I was amazed that there were people willing to cook for a group this size...every week! That is a big service. (We ate beforehand because Emi needs her dinner by 5:30 to feel like herself;))
I love her crossed ankles in the high chair! And sucking the dip off the carrots :-) She knows what she does and doesn't like!
