Success!

Life from Emi's perspective. She snatched these lovely shots as I was writing our grocery list today. haha.

Today was a big day. Marty and I finally decided to pull out a violin and play it for Emi. She's recently been loving the violin grandma and grandpa got her, so it seemed she was ready to have Mom and Dad play for her. Well...good news! No tears. Marty even played "Happy Birthday" for her on the violin and she didn't cry! I think our baby's finally over her fear of the violin (and Happy Birthday). Yay!!!

Not related to the pictures or Emi but I had the weirdest experience today. We were trying out a new story time, and I went to move my diaper bag and it caught on a zipper on my pants and I couldn't get it off for the life of me. I was so embarrassed and didn't know what to do. I kept pulling at it and nothing. So Emi and I took an excursion to the front desk and they thought they might have pliers in their maintenance closet I could use. While they were gone looking for pliers, I was able to rip the bag off my pants--I thought the zipper on my pants would be a goner for sure-- but by some miracle everything remained intact. So random and weird! I honestly don't know how that happened, but I hope it never happens again. haha
