Coyote

Emi, Jules, and I hung out together this morning! Emi and Jules are just 4 months apart and are the cutest little munchkin friends.

The afternoon consisted of running errands and going for a walk with Sarah H. from the ward. On our walk we ran into a coyote (maybe 20-30 ft in front of us?). We walked slowly backward and headed the other direction. I was glad we were together and not by ourselves! Yikes!

In the evening, Marty and I started packing for our trip tomorrow. Laguna Seca here we come!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
