Graduating Seniors

In HR (maybe all of Colorado?), it's common for the high school seniors to have graduation parties. We have quite a few seniors in our ward, but unfortunately we will be out of town for most of their parties. So today I started prepping all their graduation cards, and got a little carried away. I ended up writing all of the cards during Emi's nap time, and figured we might as well deliver them to!  

I loved getting to check this to-do off my list. It was fun getting to reflect on what I've learned from the senior girls in YWs. They're going to do great things (and the boys too!).

In the evening we went bowling for YWs. We had a great turnout and it was so much fun!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
