Pagosa

Grandma and Grandpa sent a plane out to pick us up to meet them in Pagosa Springs. I seriously felt so bougie riding in a plane with just me, Marty, and Emi. haha. And also grateful that it took less than an hour to get from Denver to Pagosa! 

Emi liked the snacks.


Dan and Angela picked us up from the airport and we arrived at camp. There we were greeted by Nick and his new girlfriend, Camille. They're a cute couple!

The rest of the afternoon everyone was working on getting camp ready to go for the season since it's everyone's first time up here this year. I use the term "everyone" quite loosely. More like Dan and Angela. haha. 

One item of business was getting rid of mice. I learned that if you see something that looks like lint in a tarp, it's most likely a mouse nest and not lint. haha. Shout out to Dan and Marty for taking one for the team! 


In the evening we had a fire and looked at the moon through the telescope.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
