Emu

Emi and I went with Kimber B. and crew to a magic show at the library today. It was cute, and now Emi has added another bird to the list of birds she loves...Emu!

In the afternoon we spent time playing outside with her water table, and in the evening Marty and I went on a date night to the temple. Every time we go to the temple we happen to run into my friend McKall's parents and so naturally we ran into them again today.

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. Baby #2

 And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
