Race Day

We ate at "Wienery" before heading to Nick's race today. 

Hiking up to the very top bleachers to get a better vantage point of the race track.

Unfortunately, Nick got crashed into at the very beginning of the race, which put him in last place. And then he had an engine problem just a lap or two later...so he was out for the day!

*Not pictured* all of us at the pool after Nick's race. They had a huge public pool right next to the State Park and it ended up being super fun for all of us to spend the afternoon swimming/hanging out together. 

In the late afternoon we headed back to the track. The track was letting just regular cars go around the track for a few laps today. Nick drove the mini van with a bunch of us in it and it was so much fun! When do you ever get the opportunity to do something like that?

We took a pit stop at the park so Emi could play before going to dinner.
