Happy Birthday to one of my number one blog readers, Angela! I feel like I lucked out in the MIL department. I look up to my MIL so much and think the world of her. Everyone who knows her loves her. She's kind, a great listener, welcoming toward everyone, and fun. I'm glad I get her as my bonus mom.

This evening Marty watched Emi so I could go to a RS garden party. It was nice getting to socialize with the different ladies in our ward. I love where we live!

2024. I didn't see you coming at all. This has been the wildest year. Hard, frustrating, discouraging, exciting, and hopeful. It's been a year of growth. At the beginning of the year Marty and I had been hoping to get pregnant for a few months and it wasn't panning out as expected. I figured I'd be pregnant within the first few months of the new year, but nope. God had other plans. I was called as YW President in January (a shock to everyone including me!) and that consumed a lot of my time and energy throughout the year. It's been a rewarding experience.  I started weight training for the first time in my life and discovered that I really loved it.  And baby #2 is a... GIRL! Bring on the pink. Marty's not a huge fan of gender reveals...but I thought it'd be fun to do a little something. I ended up bringing pink donuts to YWs and surprising the girls. The girls gave me all the reactions I had hoped for ;)
