Hudson Gardens

Emi and I went with Summer and Jules to Hudson Gardens this morning. They have TONS of carved pumpkins and you can just walk around (If you go at night it costs because the jack-o-lanterns light up, but if you go during the day it's free). I wish I would've discovered this place in previous years because it's so cute and fun.

Afterward, we were close to Marty's work so I called him up, and we met him at Torchy's for lunch. It was fun getting to see him mid-day!

Emi and I ran some errands in the afternoon and we ended up getting a cute snow globe from Target (their Studio McGee holiday section is so hard to pass by without grabbing something). Emi was mesmerized by it. She loved twisting the knob to make it play music.

After dinner, Marty, Emi, and I headed our separate ways. I dropped Emi off to hang with Marlow, Bowen, and Brye and then went to YWs, and Marty went to softball. After YW, I dropped off girls, picked Emi up, and then hosted a YW meeting at my house (2 days in a row! haha. Presidency meeting yesterday and board meeting today). We got so much accomplished. We're ready to go through the end of December. It's such a good feeling. Inevitably things will change, but we have a pretty good idea of what's happening.

Marty called shortly after my meeting ended, to say they'd lost their game. Darn! They had an undefeated season, and needed to win their first game tonight to put them in the championship game. Each season the Chatham team's gotten a little bit better. I have a good feeling about next season.
