We were out the door by 6:30 this morning to Pagosa!

When we drove to Pagosa a few weeks ago, I forgot our Great Harvest cinnamon burst bread in our freezer, so we turned around to get it. This time I was determined not to forget it! I made a note and circled it on the fridge. This morning I remembered and put it in the car...or so I thought. haha. Yesterday at Great Harvest I grabbed a regular loaf and the cinnamon loaf (I planned to just leave the regular one at home to have after we got back from our trip). Welp! I grabbed the regular loaf and left the cinnamon one in the freezer! haha.

That was funny to discover mid-drive. The actual drive went smoothly except for an hour and a half before camp at Wolf Creek Pass when it started getting blizzardy. Marty and I were both nervous, but "the little versa that could" pulled through for us!

The fall colors were stunning!

We met Missy and Kyle in town at Sage Eatery for burgers and fries and it was delicious. It was fun to catch up and see their little girls. Both Grace and Blaire have grown up since I last saw them.

Afterwards, we all headed to camp. It was very rainy for most of the day so we hung out inside, ate dinner, and chatted! Oh, and cleaned up elk poop in the yard! haha. It's everywhere. As we were cleaning, Grace managed to step in it multiple times and sit in it. Oh toddlers!

Marty testing out the shop vac to see if it would help clean up the poop. Before this picture, we had 3 of us working with shovels and a bucket! Marty would clean out the bucket each time we filled it. It was honestly hilarious.
