Tradition

The YW are in charge of the Halloween Party this year, and we decided we'd like to try something new and move away from the trunk or treat.

Well, today in church, a sweet deacon got up to talk and started crying about how he was sad the trunk or treat was no longer going to happen (I think it was part nerves, part sadness). I felt SO BAD. By mid-day, the trunk or treat was back on. Everyone was teasing me (the grinch of Halloween haha), and I honestly thought it was hilarious. Doing the trunk or treat is less work for us...so win-win!

  1. Dying because I get so annoyed by the trunk or treat too -- it's literally the day before halloween! And if it was ever up to me I might try to cancel as well. Like too much candy! However, our ward has carnival games at each car which makes it different than normal trick or treating, so it's not quite a repeat.
