Utah Thanksgiving

We got to spend a whole week in Utah for Thanksgiving! I was initially worried that it might feel like a long trip since Marty and I are so used to weekend excursions, but the time flew by! We had a blast.

Isaac reading to Emi. Isn't this so sweet?

On Monday, November 25, we spent the day with the Shaeffers. Emi loved the Museum of Curiosity!

Carousel!

Carousel's are fun for adults too!

Big cousin squeeze!

Aunt Bubs teaching Emi and Isaac how to play the harp.

Cousin Pic! My mom called before Thanksgiving to ask if she should get the cousins matching jammies...of course! The answer is always yes ;) Pictured: Elizabeth, Rachel, Isaac, Ingi, Emi, and Huck (in case I can't remember in 20 years lol).

Turkey Trot with the family!! I hope this becomes a tradition. It was so much fun! Marty beat me by 15 seconds grrr! Mom stayed home with all the munchkins (except Elizabeth). My mom accidentally pocket dialed me on our way home from the race and it sounded like complete mayhem. hahah. When we got home she confirmed that it was!

Pie Face!

Gingerbread House Decorating. This is a ton of work for my mom, but one of my favorite traditions growing up!

Emi's gingerbread house fell right after this picture was taken. haha.

Afternoon at the Dinosaur Museum. Thanksgiving Point just has it all!

Emi and Hucky Beans.

The sass!

Mom stayed home again so we could go curling (thanks, Mom!). Girls versus...

Boys!

We had a lot of fun!

My parents took the kiddos to Build-A-Bear to choose out whatever animal they wanted! Understaffed Build-A-Bear + children with a short attention span + stuffed animals and accessories everywhere = chaos!

I reallly tried to convince Emi to not get the green bear. But she insisted on it. And she insisted it have the witch costume! ha! Ingi also decided to switch her stuffy to the witch last minute (Sorry, Steph!).

Emi has the best grandparents! Marty and I both have such great parents who love their grandkid(s) so much!

We decided to try these out at the mall. Very fun!

So grateful we got to spend the holiday with family. It's always special!
