It's been a bit since I last got on here and wrote, so I'm just going to do a recap with pictures.  The resin beads we were dealing with. These were everywhere! More resin beads. Doesn't this remind you of "The Help?" haha. The resin bead problem got resolved...$9,000 later. But hey, we have new toilets, new faucets, and we can use water in our house! Ice Cream! More Ice Cream. We said goodbye to the Rosen's and they went to Steph's friend's wedding and then Pennsylvania. Their flight didn't get delayed or canceled on the way home, and if you know their flight luck, you know that's a miracle. haha. Added some Fall Decor to our house. I am all over festive wreaths :) Emi exploring everywhere as usual. Emi taking the wipes out of the container. Great Gram gave Emi Venmo funds for a birthday surprise so we decided to put it towards a pass to The Denver Children's Museum. We went with some friends and had a blast! Garden of the Gods

Another day another birthday! Jackie and Steph are just one day apart. So it was a big birthday year for Jackie too. Something I admire about Jackie is she can do anything she puts her mind to...and she doesn't just do a sub-par job at what she puts her mind to. She full on becomes a full on professional at anything she wants to get good at. Some hobbies she's just "picked up" are gardening, knitting, and baking macarons. I'm grateful to have her as my older sister. Marty took the day off work today! He and Dave went climbing in the morning and Steph and I took the kiddos to My Gym.  In the afternoon we headed to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and took a stop at In N Out. (Dave got Steph family pictures for her birthday and they were taking them at Garden of the Gods.) We walked around for just a little bit before Dave and Steph left to meet their photographer, and then Marty, Emi, and I stayed longer to walk around a bit. All Emi wanted to do was sit on t

Steph's Birthday

Big day today! Steph's 30th birthday. Steph is always up for anything and is a great listener. She also makes my brother so happy and is a great addition to or family. We're lucky we got to celebrate with her today! In the morning we went to the Denver Children's Museum. There was so much to do and see we couldn't get to everything but the things we did get to were a lot of fun. Emi and I will definitely be going back and may even get a pass there because it was that good. Ingi and Dave in the fire truck. The girls exploring. If you look closely you can see they're in a giant bubble! A construction station. The Rosen's. Emi loved the sand. Emi and Ingi in Adirondack chairs. We came back for nap time, and then Emi and I headed off to Marty's work party while Dave and Steph met up with friends. The work party was at such a nice venue, there was lots of yummy food, and many activities for kids to do. I love how Chatham has such a family friendly culture and Mar

Bubs, Dave, Ingi, Emi, and I spent most of the day together because Steph (and Huck) had wedding stuff to take care of and Marty had work. (I think I forgot to mention that Dave and Steph came out to stay with us because they have a wedding they're a part of later this week.) Mid-day it was time for Bubs to head home. She has been so helpful with all the kiddos and it's been so fun talking and hanging out. We're going to miss her! In the evening we did a siblings/friends class at My Gym and headed off to Torchy's for dinner.  Toddler Story time with the kiddos. It was so crowded!  Emi and Aunt Bubs Playing at the library after story time. Cousins. Isn't this picture the sweetest? Ingi loves giving Emi loves. Right before Bubs and I headed to the airport we decorated Steph's birthday cake for tomorrow:) My Gym with the kiddos.

In the morning we went for a walk up Grig's road, and then we came back and Emi and I headed to My Gym for her class. In the afternoon we went swimming together, and in the evening we went to a ward activity and hung out.  Emi tried blackberries for the first time and she LOVED them. Huck and Aunt Bubs Dave and Ings Swimming! I think this picture of Emi is so cute. She ate a chocolate cookie right before I took this picture. haha. Our walking machine. Dave and Bubs decided the heath bar cake yesterday didn't quite cut it, so they started making another one at 9 at night. haha.

Emi's Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Emi's birthday with family and a few close friends. We feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people. The preparations. Bubs, Steph, and Dave headed out the balloon arch. It turned out so cute! Who would've known that glue dots held balloons together so well? Present opening. I was probably more excited about Emi's gifts than she was. New things to play with ;) Uncle Nick got Emi a race car! He had his first big league race yesterday and came out today to support Emi. It meant a lot to us!  Grandma and Grandpa got Emi a stroller. Both she and Ingi love playing with it. The family. Grandma and Grandpa came out too! Playing with grandma at the playground. Grandma and Grandpa helping get dinner all ready. Emi and Dad. Our little fam. Bubs and I made this cake and for a minute there it wasn't looking so hot. But Bubs saved the day! Heath bar cake for everyone else. Decor. More decor. Emi and her cake. Emi was more interested in sharing her
